About
Twenty two houses, and we still only build one at a time.
Coastline Builders is a small custom home builder working between Boca Raton and Jupiter. We are deliberately not large. One superintendent runs one job, and when that job finishes he starts the next one.
Why we stay small
A builder running six houses at once is really running a scheduling company. The trades know it, and the work shows it.
We would rather be the builder you can ring on a Sunday because he actually knows which window you meant.

What we believe
Three things we will not be talked out of.
The envelope before the finishes
Roof, windows, waterproofing and drainage get the budget first. A kitchen can be replaced in a fortnight. A roof that was value engineered in month three is a problem for twenty years.
The price is the price
We bid off finished drawings, not sketches, which is why our number takes longer to produce and then does not move. Change orders happen when you change something, not when we discover something we should have priced.
You talk to the person doing the work
No account manager between you and the site. The superintendent on your house has his own phone number and he answers it.
Next step
Come and see one.
We usually have a house at framing and another at finishes. Walking both in an afternoon tells you more about a builder than any brochure.
